Highly trained traffic marshals are key to our efforts to minimise disruption and build good relationships with the communities neighbouring our developments. We were thrilled recently when Pat, a resident local to the Queen's Wharf site in Hammersmith, contacted us to commend the Queen's Wharf traffic marshals for their conscientious, careful and friendly treatment of local pedestrians and cyclists.
We chose to reward these approachable, enthusiastic marshals (Daniel Lika, Adebola Olajide, Ioan Zsigoveny, Klajdi Blloku, Bryan Augustin, Michael Owagoke and Stanislaw Sulkowski) with Red Letter Day vouchers to spend on an experience of their choice. Pat, the local resident who contacted us, presented the marshals with their vouchers.
As Ade Olajide (pictured fourth from right) said, "This was such a surprise. We understand Mount Anvil's commitment to working with the local community and it’s great to be appreciated and rewarded for all our hard work". Our Community Liaison Officer, Mari Chisholm, added, "It’s great that our supply chain and site operatives understand our company culture. We are grateful to have such enthusiastic and willing teams on site, and to be getting such positive feedback from local residents. We'll continue doing everything we can to ensure that we're contributing positively to the communities we work in".
