Dollar Bay’s Ever-Changing Hoarding

We recently completed installation of Dollar Bay’s hoarding, created in collaboration with boundary-pushing design agencies Octink and Egelnick and Webb. The result is a display as striking and creative as the development itself. Read more below.

Assured and unimpeded at the foot of the South Dock, a development as uniquely dramatic as Dollar Bay demanded a hoarding that celebrates its quality and creativity.

We chose to work with the two leading agencies, to create an exceptional solution that is as much art installation as hoarding. The finished display features over 1000 moving panels, designed to capture the dockside breeze in an ever-changing display of shifting light and movement.

It's the same sense of beautiful, fluid movement that is at the heart of architect Ian Simpson's vision for this exceptional residential tower. Overlooking Canary Wharf and the Thames, the tower's rippled glass façade reflects the shifting light and colours of the water below and the sky above. The new hoarding is the perfect introduction to this unique dockside commodity.
