The event, held in association with London Design Festival was a great success. Kate Moore, Director at Darling Associates and Chris Dezille, Founder of Honky, kicked things off with a insightful and thought provoking workshop on bringing the best of Great British design into your home. This was followed by Alfredo Caraballo, Partner at Allies and Morrison - our award winning architects at Keybridge. Alfredo charted the evolution of Great British architecture and what it takes to create a memorable building for London. Lastly, Dan Sayers, Technical Director at legendary British automotive designers, Aston Martin Racing brought the V8 Vantage GTE Challenger to showcase and shared the secrets as to what what lies behind the design of their racing cars.
Prosecco and canapes were served throughout the evening courtesy of local restaurant Brunswick House. Continuing the theme of all things British, each canape was made using fresh, organic produce from chef Jackson Boxer’s family farm in West Sussex, on the South Downs.
On departure guests were presented with gift bags including:
- Aston Martin Racing bags, diaries and business card holders
- Darling Associates postcards and pencils, rulers and USBs
- Honky candles, matches and postcards
- Mount Anvil portfolio and Vauxhall local area guides and Keybridge USBs
About London Design Festival
First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of the world's most important annual design events. The Festival programme is made up of over 400 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds of Partner organisations across the design spectrum and from around the world.
The festival was conceived by Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans. Building on London's existing design activity, their concept was to create an annual event that would promote the city's creativity, drawing in the country's greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators to a deliver an unmissable celebration of design.
As a beacon of Great British architecture, Keybridge will transform the streetscape of Vauxhall and, on completion from 2017, will be home to the tallest residential brick tower in the UK. The development will provide one acre of landscaped open space, which will incorporate an integrated water feature and bespoke artwork by the award-winning Tom Price – one of Great Britain’s most exciting artists for a generation.
Since launching Keybridge late last year, homeowners and investors have been impressed with the unique developments’ luxurious specification, and over 70% of the beautifully finished Manhattan Style apartments have now sold. Visit the marketing suite for yourself to see why the crafted, contemporary homes here are proving so popular. Call 020 7776 5720 to book your visit or register your interest.
