Mount Anvil Receives International Recognition For Safety

Mount Anvil has been recognised by the International Safety Awards 2011 for the excellent health and safety standards at its new Central Square development in EC1.

Introduced over 50 years ago, the awards are seen as a global benchmark for good health and safety practice.  They are awarded by one of the world's leading advocates of workplace health and safety, the British Safety Council, and supported by the Health and Safety Executive.  This year saw over 600 companies from around the world compete for the accolade.

Mount Anvil prides itself on ensuring the highest level of health and safety across its sites and received an award of merit for its commitment to improving its corporate standards.

Killian Hurley, Chief Executive of Mount Anvil said:  "Health and safety is an essential part of the Mount Anvil ethos, underpinning everything we do and as a result our accident incidence rate confirms we are one of the safest major builders in London.  This is a fantastic achievement for Mount Anvil, emphasising our 100% commitment to safety standards."
