Earlier this year, Mount Anvil was awarded the highest Health and Safety audit score ever granted by the British Safety Council - 99.93% and a Five Star rating - confirming our standing as the UK’s number 1 company for Health and Safety across all sectors.
Following this year’s audits we are thrilled to announce that we are now the holders of three prestigious Swords of Honour, given in recognition of our world class Health and Safety culture, and a Globe of Honour, an award recognising our commitment to the environment and sustainability. We’re one of only eight Globe of Honour winners worldwide, and are once again setting the bar for the construction industry as the only developer in the UK to have been awarded both a Sword and Globe of Honour in 2015.
Winners of these prestigious awards had to achieve the British Safety Council’s maximum Five Star rating in the relevant audits, and demonstrate a proven culture of excellence in Health and Safety training and practices, risk management and environmental impact awareness.
As Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, says, “The Sword of Honour and Globe of Honour awards shine a light on organisations that are at the forefront of achieving safe, healthy and sustainable workplace and business practices. It is an opportunity to celebrate their success and encourage other organisations everywhere to follow their lead.”
