We Have a Winner...

We’ve been feeling increasingly festive over the last few weeks, as we’ve been sorting through all of your fantastic entries to The Eagle’s 12 Rules of Christmas competition.

After much deliberation over mince pies, we managed to pick out our six favourites. On Monday we uploaded these to a shortlist page on Facebook, where public votes decided which entry people 'Liked' most. Following an exciting whirlwind few days of voting, we can finally announce that our winner is....

Alice Santana, who entered via Facebook with her rule: "Bring back the mistletoe for qualified kissers only". It’s great that people liked Alice’s rule as much as we did – it’s bold, cheeky and a great spin on an old tradition. Second place went to David Mitchell's entry: "Measure your happiness and not your waist over Christmas". Honourable mentions go to our other shortlisted entries, which you can read on the shortlist page on Facebook.

All our festive congratulations to Alice, who wins a VIP trip up to the 26th floor of our beautiful tower to soak up the amazing views over the city, and dinner for 4 at a local restaurant that she can choose from our shortlist of local favourites:
