From what we've been busy doing on site to an update from Crossrail, we've got all the latest news on what's been happening at Royal Eden Docks. Read more below.
In E16, we've been busy with preparation work, including the piling - in other words the essential support and foundation needed for any type of building. We've now begun the 7 weeks of drainage work needed to get the site ready for the exciting bit - the build!

Among many reasons Royal Docks makes a great place to live while promising great investment potentional is The Elizabeth Line (Crossrail). Set to slash journey times across London, Europe's largest infrastructure project is a huge catalyst to industry experts predicting a 24% population growth in Newham by 20291 - meaning a booming economy and high rental demand.
A recent update from Crossrail stated: "Delivery of the Elizabeth line is now in its complex final stages and is being completed at a time of great uncertainty due to the risks and potential impacts of further Covid outbreaks. Our focus is on meeting the immediate challenges posed by COVID-19 and keeping the programme moving forward. We are planning to start intensive operational testing, known as Trial Running, at the earliest opportunity in 2021."
The Royal Docks is one of the largest and most exciting transformation stories in London.
