Meet the first ever resident at The Silk District
You've heard about the five-star amenities like the cinema room and state-of-the-art gym. You've read about the ideal central location on the cusp of Zone 1 and just a 3-minute walk to Whitechapel Station (Crossrail). But what's it really like to live at The Silk District? We caught up with our first homebuyer to move in to hear first hand what they think.
Construction update
The Georgette North
All homes are now complete and we are continuing to welcome our purchasers on move-in day.
The Georgette South
Internally, our quality assurance process has kicked off. This is to ensure we reach the highest standards on completion.
Externally, the scaffolding is currently being taken down on Block 2, with scaffolding on Block 4 due to be taken down in the next two months. Once this is complete, we can complete all external footpaths and landscaping.
The Jacquard
Internally, the underfloor heating and finished floors are now complete up to floor 15. All of the partition walls for each home are complete up to floor 12.
On the lower floors, our team are carrying out quality assurance to ensure the plastered walls and decorating is to the highest standard. We'll start painting next month.
Externally, the façade of the tower is due to be completed in the next two months. Once this is complete we'll start installing all of the balconies. We currently have around 150 team members working in The Jacquard across all floors.
The Bouchon
Groundworks and foundations to the building are progressing well and over the coming months we'll see the concrete structure rise from the ground.
We're continuing to carry out all our work on site safely, following the government guidance, with weekly COVID testing on site for all team members and contractors.

We ask things like how easy was their completion experience, whether their home tour met their expectations, and how easy did they find getting an issue resolved, if they had one, after they moved in.
