Mount Anvil appoints Head of Mixed-Use Sales

Gavin Hubrich joins from Berkeley St George to oversee circa 80,000sq ft of existing commercial stock.

Mount Anvil has appointed Gavin Hubrich as Head of Mixed-Use Sales to oversee its growing mixed-use commercial portfolio, servicing approximately 2,343 new homes across five of Mount Anvil’s existing and pipeline developments.

Gavin, a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), joins following 11 years at Berkeley. He has over 25 years wide-ranging real estate experience, most recently relating to leading London residential led mixed-use developments. Gavin will have responsibility for Mount Anvil’s existing and pipeline commercial property and will be involved in helping with design, creating mixed-use spaces that are both commercially successful and add value to residents.

Jon Hall, Group Sales Director at Mount Anvil, comments: “We believe that providing commercial spaces that accommodate all of the residents living at our developments is key to creating thriving communities, and Gavin’s appointment has both our Joint Venture partners residents and our own at its heart. Gavin’s development expertise and extensive experience with both private and public sector organisations, as well as his interpersonal skills, make him ideal for the role.”

Mount Anvil aims to create sustainable mixed-use spaces that add value to the residential homes it builds – thus creating a cohesive community where people thrive, whilst also ensuring commercial value to joint venture partners. Its flexible approach to disposal options ensures its partners long term aspirations are met.

Gavin comments: “I joined Mount Anvil because of its different approach in the commercial space, looking at not only what is commercially viable but what is truly beneficial to residents. As a business, it also places a real emphasis on people and culture – I was attracted to the true learning mindset and high freedom, high responsibility culture.”
