The Great Estate: Mount Anvil partners with TfL and Hyde Housing

Transport for London (TfL) has selected Mount Anvil to join its Property Partnership Framework and help deliver thousands of London homes, offices, retail spaces and jobs.

Working with Hyde Housing, Mount Anvil was one of just 13 partners selected onto the final panel, following a competitive tender process involving more than 50 organisations. This new partnership builds on our existing repeat joint ventures with Ares Management, A2Dominion, Clairon Housing Group and One Housing Group.

Through the panel, TfL will bring forward 300 acres of land for redevelopment accounting for 75 sites, in just the first phase of the venture. The wider GLA family will also be able to use the panel to bring forward developments on their sites.

Graeme Craig, Commercial Development Director for TfL, said: “We have been extremely impressed by Mount Anvil, with a great track record of successfully delivering highly complex central London developments. This capability, along with their values-led approach, makes them exactly the type of partner that we want to work with.”

Killian Hurley, Chief Executive of Mount Anvil, said: “Mount Anvil has been creating homes and communities in London for 25 years. In just the last five years, we have worked in six partnerships across 15 developments. Our success has been built on partnership. We are delighted that TfL has recognised our specialist expertise and are thrilled to be working in partnership with them and Hyde Housing to create more much-needed London homes.”

TfL has already submitted planning applications in Nine Elms, Northwood and Parsons Green. It is anticipated that the three sites will deliver more than 600 new homes, new workspaces, retail units and high quality public spaces. The three sites will directly support the creation of more than 500 new jobs and are expected to create more than 2,500 indirectly.
