The latest from Whitechapel
With the quality assurance process kicking off at The Georgette North, the concrete frame up to floor 19 at The Jacquard and windows installed to floor 5 in The Georgette South, The Silk District is an exciting place to be right now. Read more below.
The Georgette North
The brickwork façade is complete at The Georgette North! In keeping with the fabric in which it's named after, the exterior of this seven-floor building perfectly balances character and subtlety, honouring the craft and luxury of Whitechapel's silk industry. We can't wait for you to call this place home.
All the homes have been decorated up to floor 5, with carpets currently being installed on floor 3. Our QA process is kicking off and will continue over the coming weeks to ensure your new home, entwined with The Jardin, the largest green space within The Silk District, is of the highest quality ready for your move-in date.
The Georgette South
All windows have now been installed up to floor 5, with the brickwork façade build currently between floors 1 and 2. The installation of the partition walls is in prgress up to floor 4, and plasterers are on site currently working on floor 1, ready to work their way up the floors.
We're continuing to make great progress over in The Jacquard. The concrete frame is built up to floor 19... not much more to go! The unitised façade is up to floor 12.
Work has kicked off interally, with partition walls up to floor 4 and plumbling and electrics work kicking off on floor 1.
