The Luxury of Choice
The Times recently published the story of Sian and Mike Mellor - a couple who bought at Keybridge after learning about its varied transport links, allowing them to travel "across town from the development by bike, boat, train, tube or foot".
Sian and Mike are entrepreneurs from Gloucestershire. They have multiple businesses and were in need of a well-connected base in London. The Mellor's came across Keybridge in Vauxhall and were attracted to its location, transport links and design. In Mike's own words, “We really like the development’s brick architecture and the fact that it is surrounded by beautiful brick mansion blocks and Vauxhall Park is opposite. We wanted to buy somewhere where we felt the design was reminiscent of London and wouldn’t date”. As the UK’s tallest residential brick tower, Keybridge certainly makes a statement while also elegantly blending into its surroundings.
In addition to its outstanding design, the development also offers enviable amenities and extensive transport links. As Mike explained, “Keybridge is only a short walk to the River Thames so I will still be able to use the Thames Clipper to travel across London and the service runs all day from Vauxhall. In fact, we can get to meetings or across town from the development by bike, boat, train, tube or foot – so there are plenty of options!". In terms of the internal features Mike stressed that, “We really like the fact that the apartment has a balcony and terrace and it will have dual aspect views over Vauxhall Park and Keybridge’s Exchange Gardens. When we visited the show apartment, we were really impressed by the quality of the fixtures and fittings and the thought that had gone into the layout”.
The Times picked up on Sian and Mike's story and featured it in an article entitled "A quick river trip, and I'm in the West End". The piece highlights the transport links near the development as well as some of the amenities on offer, pointing out that, "The couple settled on a three-bedroom property at the Keybridge development, which also has a business lounge that Mellor can use as an office".
Keybridge is a landmark development which will deliver 273 studio, one, two and three bedroom homes and penthouses, and will transform one of London’s most exciting regeneration areas, providing new homes, open spaces, shops and offices. Residents will have access to a range of exclusive facilities including a 24-hr concierge, luxury spa with a gymnasium, a 15 metre swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, the Keybridge Club Lounge with hot desks, meeting areas and WIFI access, as well as secure cycle storage and underground parking.
