Lexicon is in a prime location bordering Angel, Shoreditch, Clerkenwell, and Farringdon. Its striking curved glass facade means every home has full height windows and incredible London vistas which react to the weather, regulating the temperature within the homes.

The community also benefit from a striking piece of public art called Column. Column stands at 5.3m high, and is nestled between the two Lexicon buildings off City Road. A large reflective aluminium rock perched on a rusted steel sheet protruding vertically from the ground, this piece of public art has been designed to evoke a sense of nature and the natural landscape, through the use of industrial materials that are synonymous with the trading heritage of the City Road Basin.

Dec 2012

Broken ground

Work commenced on site to turn design into reality, a design by SOM, the architects behind Dubai’s mighty Burj Khalifa.

November 2014

Structural works complete

As the tower's core ascended, the amazing views came a step closer to reality. Up next, the signature floor-to-ceiling glazing to form that reflective curtain wall.

April 2016

Completion

The vision of architects Squire and Partners comes to life, the wider Lexicon scheme blends old London with new: new homes, shops and cafés at the edge of Regent’s Canal.

Shortlisted for RESI Development of the Year

In the Development of the Year category, RESI's judges recognised Lexicon's sleek architecture, innovative build methods and tenure-blind canalside homes.
