Mount Anvil acquired this historic three acre site in Spring 2011, on a subject to planning basis from Action for Children, and has kept its promise to lovingly restore the 19th Century Loxford House.

Following a contentious planning application, permission was granted to develop 143 new homes comprising a mix of restored and new build apartments and townhouses. The planning was achieved at local level with no need to appeal. 61 completed affordable homes are managed by Family Mosaic. In addition the scheme provides a nursery and landscaped public garden.

With a GDV of £65m, The Loxfords sold out within nine months of its launch, and of the first 20 sales half were to repeat customers. Final completions took place in September 2013.

Following its successful completion, Mount Anvil made an overage payment of £3 million to Action For Children.
