What's life like living on the Royal Docks?
We recently caught up with Ramsey, a resident at Royal Eden Docks' sister site Royal Docks West, to discover why the Royal Docks was the right choice for him.
Construction update
The Courtyard
The stair and lift core has been built up to the third floor so far, with more progress to be made to this over the coming weeks.
The Botanist
The third floor decking is currently being formed - this is the framework we build before laying the steel reinforcement and concrete which creates a floor. The stair and lift core has been built up to floor 6.
The Wellspring
Enabling works for The Wellspring are due to commence this month in preparation for the piling to start in June - piling is where we drill deep holes into the ground that will create the foundation to your new home.
The amenities
The outer box structure for the 20-metre swimming pool has been fully formed and waterproofing is currently being installed.
We're continuing to carry out all our work on site safely, following the government guidance, with weekly COVID testing on site for all team members and contractors.

What's happening in the local area?
Take time to chill with Tai Chi
The NCA (Newham China Association) are bringing Tai Chi to the Royal Docks. Check out the video below, filmed with the school of T'ai Chi Chuan. It introduces you to Tai Chi with some basic steps to get you started. More details and dates coming soon.
